Artist Meetings: Tools – first Online meetings for professional visual artists

In these complex times, independence for artists is more important than ever. In a 6-part online series we invite you to explore with fellow artists, how to strengthen and expand your position. This series of meetings is created with Cultuur+Ondernemen and in collaboration with CBK Rotterdam.

Following the 2-part webinar ‘The Asset of Art’, participants (mid-career visual artists) showed a need for more opportunities to meet and exchange knowledge on various topics in order to further professionalize their artistic practice.

The position of the professional visual artist in the rapidly changing art climate has come under further pressure, partly due to the Corona crisis. These meetings are about how to take action to improve a strong social and economic position as an independent artist?
